About Meg Birnbaum

Meg Birnbaum has lived and worked in Massachusetts since graduating from
Montserrat School of Art. She is a photographer, graphic designer and educator.

Meg taught portfolio building classes at the Griffin Museum of Photography for many
years and is secretly convinced that she learned as much as her students. She
currently mentors photographers and continues to design collateral for corporate and individual clients.

Her personal photography work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the Stonewall Museum and Archive in Fort Lauderdale, FL, at Gallery Tanto Tempo in Kobe, Japan, The Lishui International Photography
Festival, China; the Museum of Art Pompeo Boggio, Buenos Aires, the Griffin
Museum of Photography, Massachusetts; the Flash Forward Festival, Boston, the
Davis/Orton Gallery, Hudson, NY. She has twice been chosen for the top 200
photographers by Critical Mass. She’s was featured as a spotlight artist at Corden Potts Gallery, San Francisco and at Panopticon Gallery, Boston and at the Art Museum of the Americas, Washington, DC.

Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Art, Houston,
the Lishui Museum of Photography in China, the Meditech Corporation, The
Southeast Center for Photography, and in private collections.
